Kalahari Plains is located in the Kalahari Desert in Central Botswana specifically in a remote area of the majestic Central Kalahari Game Reserve. This reserve represents the largest conservation area in the country and one of the largest in the world. Kalahari Plains overlooking a vast valley, offers a greater diversity and unique visual experiences of African wildlife. In this area, seasons are well defined determining spectacular landscapes and different habitats where wildlife populations move constantly among beautiful meadows, rolling dunes and river beds. Kalahari Plains complements the Linyanti and Okavango Delta regions with its fascinating contrast. It consists of eight en-suite canvas units with a sleep-out platform on top of each of them where you can enjoy a star-filled, moonlit sky. The main area has a lounge and dining area with a pool and deck. All power and hot water in the camp comes from solar energy while the canvas are perfectly insulated to maintain a comfortable temperature inside.
