Environmental Responsibility

Project description

Six Senses Krabey Island is engaged in the preservation of tropical forests, the natural habitat of a large number of birds and 23 types of butterflies, the half of the 46 species recorded throughout Cambodia. The resort has also recently launched a coral reef restoration program aimed at protecting the fragile marine ecosystem that surrounds the resort. The project includes several stages and the main objective of the current phase is to create a protected swimming/ snorkeling path through the coral reef and make an inventory of local marine life. This is a pilot project which aims to set an example for other coastal areas of Cambodia.
