Saruni Wild staff, made up of local community members, have started an eco-tree planting project to promote in local schools and public facilities. The project's unique feature is recycling Tetra pack juice & milk packets to collect indigenous young tree saplings. These saplings, once plated in the cartons, are taken to local schools to be dug by students. Each student can plant their own and follow its growth. In this way, Saruni gets to recycle packets from lodge consumption reducing waste, whilst the community gets an invaluable lesson in responsible reforestation and sustainable practices for the future.
