The journey starts from Kigali, with its lush hills, flowering trees, winding boulevards and crowded streets: it is one of the most attractive capitals of Africa; you are then immersed in the dense nature that distinguishes this East African country.
The Virunga National Park, consisting of five volcanoes, is among the most exciting in Africa. The main attraction are the amazing mountain gorillas.

Day 1 Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you are met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight (20 minutes’ drive).
Day 2 - Kigali - Nyungwe
After breakfast drive 5 horus to Nyungwe National Park. Arrival at lodge and lunch. Afternoon at leisure to relax or visit to the Tea plantation. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Nyungwe
Early morning go on chimpanzee trekking adventure. Return to the lodge in the afternoon. Lunch and dinner included. Overnight.
Day 4 - Nyungwe - Gisenyi
After breakfast drive 6 hours to Gisenyi with a stop in Kibuye for lunch. Afterwards proceed to the hotel.Check-in then dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Gisenyi – Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast drive 1.30 hour to the Volcanoes National Park, check-in at Lodge then lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Volcanoes National Park (Gorilla Tracking)
After an early breakfast, drive to Volcanoes National Park to be allocated a gorilla tracking group.
Briefing by your trackers then drive to the trail head for the start of an amazing adventure.
Gorilla tracking in Rwanda is often described as “life changing” and with good reason. With only an estimated 880 Gorillas left in the world, to see these gentle creatures in their natural habitat is a truly unique moment. Lunch at lodge. In the afternoon you will be taken to visit the Ex-poachers village. Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 - Volcanoes National Park - Kigali
After an early breakfast you will be driving to the Gorilla Tracking Headquarters for your second gorilla tracking adventureThe procedure will be the same as the day before and once you have had the briefing you will meet your porter and then be driven to the trail head. After your track you will be driven back to your lodge for lunch. Later, you will then collect your bags and drive back to Kigali and check-in at the lodge.Dinner free and overnight.
Day 8 - Kigali
Breakfast. Transfer to airport. End of services.
