Yogyakarta is undoubtedly Indonesia's best-known and best-loved city. It is a cultural and intellectual centre packed with important universities and academies.
The noise and chaotic traffic that characterises it vanishes as if by magic a few steps away from the main streets, where you can find the ‘kampung’, the villages where life - strongly linked to traditional values and ethics - still takes place at a slow and relaxed pace.
The island of Bali looks like a tropical paradise: terraced rice fields along the hillsides thin out, leaving room for lush tropical jungles, long white sandy beaches to warm turquoise waters.
A multifaceted island where the tradition and peace of this land coexist with the modernity and liveliness of the various clubs in Kuta and Seminyak, the right place to relax without ever risking boredom.
