Three concerts, two nights and a village that enchants
An autumn weekend in the heart of Umbria, for an immersion in chamber music and jazz, during the festival curated by Maestro Luigi Piovano, in the timeless charm of the Borgo di Postignano. Three extraordinary appointments, a cuisine that interweaves tradition and invention, and a refined stay in one of Italy's most charming villages.
Arrive at Castello di Postignano during the day and settle into your chosen room.
During this first day, you will have time to explore the village, enjoy the landscape or relax in the quiet of the residences. In the afternoon you will attend the first of three scheduled concerts (still to be defined), in the intimate setting of the Chiesa SS. Annunziata.
At the end of the concert there will be dinner at the Casa Rosa restaurant, where regional cuisine is expressed at its most creative.
In the morning, you can enjoy the views offered by Postignano Castle and wander through the alleys of the village.
Afternoon of relaxation, until 6 p.m., when the second concert is scheduled, ‘Di Rosa and Trio Plavens’; Francesco Di Rosa's oboe meets the refined sounds of Trio Plavens: a sound dialogue between wind and strings.
At the end of the concert, dinner at Casa Rosa, the Castle's renowned restaurant.
The final concert of the Postignano Music Festival is “Standards Forever”, to be held at 12.00 noon in the Church of SS. Annunziata.The Fabiana Rosciglione Quartet pays tribute to the greatest jazz composers.
