After breakfast, head to Innichen, a charming Tyrolean village on the Austrian border, where your bike waits for an exciting day in the open air.
The itinerary to Lienz is suitable for everyone, thanks to a well-maintained cycle path with a constant, gentle descent. Starting from the historic center of San Candido, surrounded by the Dolomites, you’ll ride along the Drava River through forests, green meadows, and quiet alpine villages.
The route, about 45 kilometers long, offers panoramic views and peaceful moments. Along the way, several mountain huts and traditional inns invite you to stop and enjoy local specialties. Also worth a stop is the famous Loacker confectionery factory in Heinfels, located right along the path.
Once in Lienz, a delightful Austrian town, you can easily return by regional train to San Candido, dropping off your bike at the rental return point at the Lienz train station.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
This day is entirely at your disposal. You can enjoy the hotel’s wellness services, including the spacious spa, yoga, and fitness areas.
Alternatively, we suggest a visit to the nearby town of Brunico or a trip to the iconic Lake Braies (any parking/entry booking costs not included). Nestled among the Dolomites, the lake enchants with its turquoise waters and spectacular reflections. A walk along its shores offers moments of beauty and tranquility.

Stroll through the elegant streets of Bressanone’s old town, admire the majestic Cathedral Square with its cathedral, and be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of its arcades and palaces. Enjoy a coffee in a historic café or browse the artisan shops that bring the city to life.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the quiet of the Abbey of Novacella, an architectural gem surrounded by vineyards. Visit the splendid library and frescoed cloister independently.
You’ll then have the opportunity to visit the historic wine cellar, where wine is still produced according to tradition, and enjoy a guided tasting of four locally produced wines.
