A stay at the Foresteria Planeta in Menfi is the perfect opportunity to discover the authentic soul of Sicily through its culture, food and wine, and extraordinary views. Over four days, you will enjoy an experience that combines relaxation, tradition, and discovery.
The trip begins with a visit to Segesta, with its Doric temple and ancient theater surrounded by nature. Once in Menfi, you can enjoy the exclusive services of the Ecoluxury Retreat.
The second day is dedicated to flavors: at Tenuta Ulmo, you will participate in a cooking class led by a chef, preparing traditional dishes to enjoy during lunch. This will be followed by a wine tasting of renowned Planeta wines, expressions of the island's different terroirs.
The third day will take you on a discovery of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, with a guided tour of the best-preserved Doric temples in the world. In the afternoon, you can choose to admire the spectacular Scala dei Turchi, relax at the Planeta Insula Beach Club, or stroll through the streets of Mazara del Vallo, surrounded by Mediterranean scents and Arab influences.

Arrive in Palermo by flight (not included in the package) where you will pick up your rental car to explore the western part of Sicily.
On the way to the Ecoluxury Retreat Foresteria Planeta in Menfi, depending on your arrival time, we suggest a stop in Segesta (entrance fees not included). In Segesta, you will have the opportunity to visit the majestic Doric temple, perfectly preserved, and the theater, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding valley. Strolling among the ruins and panoramic views, you will have the chance to discover the millennial history of this timeless Sicilian city.

Today is dedicated to the wines and flavors of the island.
Head to Tenuta Ulmo Planeta, in the heart of Sicily, where you will discover Sicilian flavors with a cooking class led by an expert chef: you can choose the type of class, opting for flavors more closely linked to tradition or, if you are already an experienced cook, refine your techniques with fine dining options.
After lunch, where you will taste the fruits of your labor, you will discover Planeta's fine wines on a dedicated tour. With six wineries spread across five territories, each interpreting the great Sicilian varieties, you will be immersed in an unparalleled wine journey.
At the end of these tours, free time.

In the morning, accompanied by a private guide, visit the beautiful Valley of the Temples.
A guided tour of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento immerses you in the majesty of ancient Akragas. The guide will lead you through the ruins of Doric temples, such as those of Juno and Concordia, recounting the history and anecdotes of the city and its gods. Walking among the columns and walls, you will discover fascinating details about the art, religion, and daily life of the ancient Greeks.
The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure.
On the way back to the hotel, we suggest a stop at the Scala dei Turchi (entrance not included): a natural wonder among white cliffs overlooking the sea. The limestone rocks, sculpted by wind and water, create an impressive staircase.
Alternatively, you can spend an afternoon at the beach taking advantage of the services of Planeta Insula Beach Club.
In the evening, we recommend visiting nearby Mazara del Vallo, strolling through its historic streets and enjoying a dinner of fresh seafood. A day of culture, relaxation, and good food to end your stay in Sicily.

After breakfast, head to Palermo Airport where you will return your rental car in time for your flight back home.
