South Africa Ecoluxury and MalaMala Game Reserve

9 days

from 8.600 euro

The journey begins in Cape Town, the starting point for exploring the Cape Peninsula and its natural wonders. The next two nights are in the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, a reserve beautifully cradled between the mountains and the ocean; here you can admire the Big5 of the sea (seals, dolphins, penguins, sharks, and whales). We continue to Franz's renowned wine estate with its typical colonial-style houses, where you will enjoy a delicious picnic in a forest of camphor trees (in the summer months).

You will end on a high note with three days in the MalaMala Reserve, almost 13,500 hectares of untouched land in South Africa: with one of the largest concentrations of predators in the world, MalaMala is home to some of the most epic animal encounters in Africa. The Sand River serves as a lifeline for the wildlife that inhabits the reserve as it winds its way through the rugged landscape: big cats, such as lion and leopard, battle for dominance of the inland territory, while large herds of antelope come along the banks, attracted by the lush vegetation and shade of the acacias.
