Il Wilderness Damaraland Camp è situato nella valle del fiume Huab,una delle zone più belle della Namibia, con panorami infiniti, antiche valli e uno splendido sfondo di montagne ocra-viola.
Il lodge, frutto della collaborazione tra Wilderness Safaris e la Torra Conservancy gestita dalla comunità locale, è composto da dieci cottage con tetto di paglia rialzati da terra e con una terrazza da dove contemplare il deserto.
L’area centrale del lodge comprende una zona ristorante e la piscina. Il soggiorno prevede escursioni e passeggiate nella natura e alla scoperta delle meraviglie geologiche e antropologiche della zona, tra le quali alcune testimonianze di antica arte rupestre. Serate tranquille intorno al fuoco e un limpido cielo notturno consentono un’ osservazione delle stelle superlativa.
Damaraland is known for its ancient rock art. Guests staying three nights or more can take a day drive to Twyfelfontein, and visit some of these art expressions of the past. Picnic lunch provided.

Morning and afternoon nature drives reveal the dramatic scenery, and fascinating wildlife of the region. Desert-adapted elephant are the highlight of the area, although the natural cycle of rainfall dictates the seasonal movements of wildlife along the Huab River.
