AKP works with numerous schools in the Bwindi area to improve school infrastructure and expand educational opportunities. In the southern part of the forest, it has supported the Ntungamo primary school by building new classrooms and kitchens, creating a library and providing teaching resources, uniforms, drinking water and a daily food programme. Also in the southern sector, Sanuriro Primary School is building a modern learning centre with a fully equipped library and computer lab.
Near Gorilla Forest Lodge, AKP has contributed to the renovation and improvement of classrooms in several schools in the Buhoma area, including Mukuno Primary, Mukuno Secondary, Katiba School, and St. Pius Nursery & Primary School.
Ebenezer Primary School, also near the lodge, has benefited from AKP's support for the construction of classrooms, administrative buildings, community halls and the purchase of essential materials to ensure quality education for students in Bwindi.
