Philippines

A country with a colonial past, where Spanish influence is still strongly present in daily life, it is an archipelago of over 7000 islands with beaches and cliffs overlooking the sea. Luzon and Mindanao are the two largest islands that make up approximately 66% of the country's territory while only 1000 islands have an area of more than 1 sq km. Surrounded by emerald waters, its islands are a true diver's paradise, but they also offer spectacular hinterlands rich in flora and fauna where many species of birds, buffalos, crocodiles and pythons live, among 10,000 types of trees, shrubs, ferns, palms and bamboo. Incredible biodiversity, a unique mix of cultures and dreamy scenery make the Philippines a complete destination: from Palawan, called the most beautiful island in the world, to the terraces of Banaue, known as the Stairs of Paradise to Vigan an incredible example of Spanish and Asian architecture.
