After breakfast, meet your local guide for a trekking excursion through the Bayettes Nature Reserve.

Located in the beautiful Marmore Valley, on the right side of the Cervino Valley, Bayettes spans over 4 km² between 2,000 and 3,300 meters above sea level. This breathtaking and untouched landscape is home to ancient alpine huts, once shelters for shepherds and their flocks. The reserve protects a rich and diverse flora and a freely roaming wildlife: chamois, ibexes, marmots, eagles, and falcons. A true corner of paradise where nature reigns supreme.

In the morning, visit the Castle of Fénis, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the region, featuring a double crenelated wall and elegant towers.

Pass through the square tower to explore the Hall of Arms, the monumental kitchen fireplace, the refectory, the noble floor with reception rooms, and a chapel adorned with frescoes.
At the heart of the manor lies the painted courtyard, with its semicircular staircase, wise men, prophets, and saints like St. George and St. Christopher watching over you.

After visiting the castle, continue to Aosta. The ancient Augusta Praetoria is well worth a visit: begin with the impressive Arch of Augustus, a Roman symbol of the city, then walk through the perfectly preserved Porta Praetoria. Visit the majestic Roman Theatre and the evocative Cryptoporticus, both lasting testaments to ancient Roman civilization.

Admire the Cathedral with its medieval frescoes and end your visit strolling through the historic centre, where every stone tells centuries of stories.

End the day discovering high-altitude winemaking among mountain terraces and native grape varieties. Visit a renowned local winery, known for its daring architecture and the exceptional quality of its wines, which you’ll taste during a guided wine tasting.
