Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Adler Lodge Ritten

Accessible by your own vehicle from Bolzano or by cable car from Bolzano up to Soprabolzano in just 12 minutes, and from there the hotel transfer will take you directly to the Adler Ritten Lodge. Check-in. Explore the unspoiled nature around you before enjoying the excellent Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine.

Day 2: : Adler Ritten

For carefree relaxation, the Adler Lodge Ritten offers its guests the all-inclusive formula. Start your day with a hearty breakfast buffet of fresh, regional produce, sweet and savory baked goods, freshly squeezed juices, homemade cakes, jams and homemade honey. There is no better way to spend the morning with healthy exercise to combine with exploring the surroundings. The outdoor program includes daily hiking and e-bike tours of varying difficulty and duration, accompanied by the Retreat's local guides. Rental of e-bikes and helmets is free, as is everything you need for hiking (trekking poles and backpacks, as well as hiking maps). You will then be provided with the Rittencard for free use of all regional public transportation in South Tyrol including the narrow-gauge train and the Renon Cable Car to Bolzano and the Rittner Horn, as well as admission to some 80 museums and castles. If you prefer to indulge in the relaxation of meditative exercise, yoga and meditation are for you. Dynamic and meditative yoga sessions in the forest and sound bath will be THE means to regenerate your spirit. The light-lunch with salad buffet, hot and cold dishes and delicious desserts will be a pleasant break for the day, while in the late afternoon you can relax in the year-round heated outdoor panoramic swimming pool with views of the Dolomites, or enjoy the bio-sauna and traditional Finnish sauna in the forest with pleasant steam jets, steam bath, two relaxation rooms with views of the forest and the majestic Dolomites. The 5-6 course à-la-carte gourmet dinner of individual choice, with vegan and vegetarian options will be a worthy conclusion to your first day at Adler Lodge Ritten.

Day 3: Snow activities

When winter falls on the Renon, the hustle and bustle turns into tranquility, the noise into silence. On this sunny plateau, far from the hustle and bustle of the big ski resorts, the cold season can be experienced in its most authentic side. To do so, simply walk directly from the Lodge, following the numerous tracks in the snow, or take the cable car up to the snowy expanses of the Rittner Horn. The Retreat provides guests with an extensive program of outdoor activities with specialized guides for hiking, snowshoeing, curling and more, with sleds and snowshoes that can be rented free of charge at the hotel. Guests also enjoy one ticket per day for the Rittner Horn cable car. Relaxation in the spa before dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Bolzano

A visit to the city of Bolzano is always a pleasant diversion for those who wish not to lose touch with the bustling city life. Guido Piovene wrote in his Italian Journey: "Bolzano is opulent, modern, but its beauty is Gothic." It's hard not to be captivated by Piazza Walther with its green-and-gold-roofed cathedral, or not to feel a sense of welcome as you stroll along the arcade-lined streets, where what strikes you is not so much the beauty of the individual buildings but the play of light they create. The capital of South Tyrol is relaxed, orderly and quiet, with a rhythm typical of those accustomed to living with the pace of nature, which shows itself lushly as soon as you turn your gaze toward the Dolomites. A stop in the 13th-century Piazza Erbe and a visit to the Archaeological Museum with the mummy of Otzi. Return to the Adler, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Goodbye

After breakfast depart for your next destination.
