This “women's group” has become a real driver of change, promoting women's empowerment through skills development, financial inclusion, and strengthening leadership in the community. The activities carried out by this group range from training courses aimed at supporting small businesses to the creation of savings groups that encourage increasingly active social and economic participation.
The initiative stems from the awareness that, in the communities near the retreat, women's access to financial services and training opportunities was limited and often hindered by social barriers. However, the creation of the group has transformed this reality, promoting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Today, thanks to the launch of this project, many women have started small income-generating sub-projects and have gained greater confidence, decision-making autonomy, and a more central role in the development of their community.
