Seychelles

The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 granite and coral islands, known for its amazing beaches, among the most beautiful in the world, and for the kaleidoscope of experiences they offer. Located in the azure and warm waters of the Indian Ocean, they are outside the cyclonic belt in a natural context of rare beauty. Populated by a vibrant and quiet multi-ethnic, English-speaking, French and Creole society, the Seychelles boast a pristine ecosystem where almost 50% of the territory is a nature reserve. The commitment to the preservation of the environment also extends to marine habitats with the creation of two large marine protected areas that will cover a surface of 210 thousand square kilometers. The Seychelles aims to become a virtuous model of sustainable tourism, thanks to the important activity carried out by the Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Foundation created to promote good practices and support projects shared between government, private, local communities and tourists.
