Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica is a simple elegant ecological lodge situated on the banks of Peru’s Madre de Dios river and is composed of 35 thatched “cabañas” (huts) and a big central hut. Reserva Amazonica combines luxurious furnishing and delectable food with the simplicity of lantern-light and the rich sound of the jungle. The main building consists of a two-story pavilion with cathedral ceiling that houses the dining room, the bar and the main lounge. The 34 cabañas, raised on stilts, are scattered around the property, some of them overlooking the river. The Lodge, adjacent to the Tambopata National Park, allows guests to experience the region’s wealth of plant and animal life in an authentic setting. Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica offers a variety of attractions to be experienced at different levels of intensity ranging from child-friendly to extreme rainforest treks. The ENA spa, nestled on the banks of the Madre de Dios River, facing Rolin Island, provides a relaxing experience and a great spot for watching Amazonian sunsets.
