Local Integrated Development

Project description

San Corrado’s estate dates back to the 18th century and was the ancient residence of Prince Nicolaci. The renovation of the original building has been realized in compliance with the Sicilian baroque architecture and entrusted to a Sicilian construction company with local craftsmen. The San Corrado wants to be a clear example of how it is possible to protect and recover the great heritage of goods and landscapes of which Sicily is rich.  According to San Corrado’s philosophy, sustainability guarantees the growth and development of the territory and the tourist market. In fact, only an ecologically bearable development can be a guarantee of well-being and enrichment for the local community. The tourist offer should go far beyond hospitality linked to hotel accommodation, therefore San Corrado production chain aims at the integrated enhancement of human, landscape and natural resources, quality agro-food productions and a recognized cultural heritage.
