Francesca Planeta, President of Planeta Estate, is part of the National Association of Women in Wine, which has always been committed to supporting gender equality and against violence against women, through the #tunonseisola initiative, which brings together awareness-raising and charity activities to combat discrimination, wage inequality and gender violence. This commitment is carried out through concrete projects such as, for example, the recent presentation of the non-profit organization "Marisa Leo APS" last February, dedicated to Marisa Leo, who was killed on September 6, 2023, by the father of her daughter, born with the aim of spreading the culture of respect. Planeta Estate joined this 'initiative aimed, not only to honor the memory of the woman, but also to actively contribute to the defense of women in the fight against patriarchy.
