'Viti Diverse' is a project for the conservation of indigenous germplasm, undertaken by Planeta with the aim of studying the oldest genetic heritage present in the vineyard and initiating a selection of vines from the specimens that present the best characteristics in terms of low yield and resistance to pathogens and, therefore, longevity. The goal is to obtain longer-lived vineyards devoted to quality and the transmission of varietal characteristics. The project starts with Nero d'Avola and Frappato and then continues with other native varieties.
