Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas sustainably manages outdoor spaces to protect and increase the presence of endemic plants, beneficial insects and microorganisms in the local ecosystem. It respects the natural rhythms and processes of plant capital without pressurising for high growth rates. It cultivates a wide variety of indigenous spices, vegetables and fruit trees from vines to date palms, from aloe to rosemary, thus reducing the purchase of products from elsewhere and energy consumption. It encourages the repopulation of endemic birds, insects and other animals and practices green manuring in areas where vines and olive trees are cultivated.
