Sextantio is a cultural heritage project to recover the oldest part of the Sassi of Matera, UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Scenario of lives passed from the Bronze Age to monastic communities, to the reality of southern peasants enslaved to the latifundium. The complex is located near the Civita, overlooking the Gravina torrent, in front of the Murgia Park known for its rupestrian churches and international tourist destination.
