Rascard is the name of a traditional hut that was used in the field to store grain once harvested. Hotel Hermitage has two Rascards both recognized as historical "documents", one from 1862 near the hotel and another from the 16th century located near the organic garden about 1 km away. The 1862 Rascard has been completely renovated and is furnished with antique furniture and local handicrafts. It is planned to renovate the second Rascard as well with the aim of handing down these old grain storage places built to prevent moisture buildup and rodent attack.
